By downloading, installing, or using the CloudCord client modifications ("CloudCord" or "Software"), you signify your agreement to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you may not use the Software. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice, and your continued use of CloudCord constitutes your acceptance of such modifications.
CloudCord is a third-party modification and is entirely unaffiliated, unassociated, not authorized, not endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Discord Inc., or any of its subsidiaries or its affiliates. The official Discord website can be found at https://discord.com. The name "Discord" as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images are registered trademarks of their respective owners.
CloudCord modifies the official Discord client by injecting custom code to enable themes, plugins, and enhanced functionality. By using CloudCord, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own risk. While CloudCord is built with safety in mind, client modifications technically violate Discord's official Terms of Service. CloudCord and its developers (including "xohus") are not responsible for any account suspensions, terminations, data loss, or damages that may result from using this Software.
You agree not to use CloudCord to:
The original source code, design elements, and assets of CloudCord (excluding those belonging to Discord Inc.) are the intellectual property of xohus and the CloudCord team. You may not claim our code as your own, sell the Software, or distribute modified versions of CloudCord commercially without explicit written permission.
CloudCord allows for the installation of third-party plugins and themes. We do not review, endorse, or guarantee the safety of every third-party plugin or theme available on the internet. You are solely responsible for the code you choose to execute within your client. If a third-party plugin violates these Terms or causes harm, CloudCord is not liable.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to CloudCord services, support, or associated communities at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users of CloudCord, us, or third parties.
Access to CloudCord may require membership in the official CloudCord Discord server. CloudCord uses Discord's OAuth2 authorization process and the limited identify and guilds.join scopes for this purpose. If you decline authorization, leave the server, or revoke authorization, CloudCord features may remain unavailable until you explicitly choose to authorize and rejoin. CloudCord does not collect your Discord password or raw account token.
CloudCord may download runtime, compatibility, security, plugin-catalog, and interface updates. Features may change, become unavailable, or require a newer release. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every Discord release, or permanent availability of any feature.
You are responsible for securing your devices and accounts. You must not attempt to obtain another person's credentials, bypass CloudCord security controls, probe private infrastructure without authorization, or interfere with the service. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately and do not exploit them.
Use of official CloudCord communities is subject to the Community Rules. Community access may be limited separately from access to publicly available source code or downloads.
CloudCord is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudCord and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of account access, service interruption, or damage caused by third-party plugins, themes, platforms, or services.
Material changes may require acceptance of a new version before CloudCord can continue. The current revision date appears above. If you do not accept an updated version, you must stop using CloudCord.
